With a degree in Landscape Architecture from UC
Berkeley and an undergraduate degree in Conservation
Biology, Max is seldom found indoors. Transitioning to
landscape architecture in 2012 after fifteen years working
as a fine gardener, he excels in creating vibrant,
sustainable, and visually appealing gardens. He places a
strong emphasis on the therapeutic qualities of color,
sound, texture, and fragrance. Max is committed to
improving soil health and porosity, fostering biodiversity,
and integrating water capture systems while maximizing
space functionality.

Projected path to Licensure as a Landscape Architect:
December, 2024
